"....Singing is a gift, teaching is an art. They do not always occur as a "package deal" within each and every person that has obtained excellent or prestige in the field. But, every so often, it happens that one who is such occurs. Myron Myers is a teaching artist.

Myron has the amazing capacity to perceive of a voice within a student and then help them to discover and produce it themselves. Like all true teachers, he takes each student at their beginning and identifies what they need or don't need and then translates that in a way that the student grasps..He has the uncanny ability to disentangle complexities, sifting through what confounds or merely impedes a student and renders it to be simple and possible. Then he nurtures and reinforces those techniques, concepts and patterns until an exception and individual artist emerges.

He challenges the singer to be educated and then engaged on every level.
There is not a bit of artifice about him. Myron is all about the music.
Every request he makes as a teacher and every phrase he delivers as an artist is always centered within the infinite respect, understanding and love he has for the music. You feel this when he sings and you understand it when he teaches. It is enveloping and empowering, and it is a great gift."
